Looks like you are allergic to either the carrier or the minoxidil. If you are using the foam, switch to the liquid or visa versa. If you still see the redness, then the allergy is to the minoxidil, not uncommon.

You likely have an infection present with generalized redness and some pustule formation. Your doctor should drain one or more of the pustules, culture it and then place you on a targeted antibiotic.
I developed an infection and met with my doctor who put me on antibiotics. It seemed to get better. I am worried about it harming the grafts in the recipient area. Is that a problem? It is hard to tell from the pictures if the infection is under control but your doctor will tell you […]

Redness in the recipient area occurs in some people with fair skin, red hair, blonde hair, and other people with sensitive skin. It will eventually get better. Just be patient. If you are concerned, go see your doctor and he/she may prescribe a special type of topical steroid that might accelerate the disappearance of the pink […]
This is an unusually long time for this to last. You are probably fair skinned and have what I call a “histamine positive skin,” which holds the pink color for a long time. See your doctor and speak about the use of typical steroids to reduce the pink color.
This patient had multiple strip hair transplants, and the surgeons who did this did not keep all of the scars in one place. As a result, the patient ended up with a terrible scarring complication, as shown in these photos. Dr. Tony Rustio from Brazil (trained in SMP by me) repaired this man with Scalp […]
