Regenix
Dr.Rassman,
Have you heard about this hairloss product called Regenix? The actor Matthew McConaughey was on the David Letterman show and he said that he was losing his hair until he used Regenix, and now he has as good a hairline as when he was 18. What do you think?
Regenix has been around for years and they can make the hair thicker appearing (therefore fuller) with many of the things they use. The change that our actor shows suggests that either he has an unusually good result from Propecia or he had a good hair transplant surgeon in conjunction with what Regenix is doing. Two pictures of him on the web (see links below), show what appears to be a remarkable turn-around. I tend to be skeptical in believing everything I see or read about celebrities. If Matthew should read this blog, please come in for a private consultation. I will not post about the visit, I promise.
Here are links to two photos that display the dramatic change in Mr. McConaughey’s hairline:

my name is danny boigner i have been using regenix for 2.5 years and have seen fuller thicker hair also my hairline in front is filling out. my hair looks better now than in highschool and im 39 and im not a celeb. just a guy from cleveland. its a bit costly but worth it.exciting stuff!
I can’t believe no one knows about McConaughey’s hair loss. Here, I’ll spell it out: S-T-E-R-O-I-D-S. Ever noticed how he got super ripped and big real quick. Everyone knows steroids can cause hair loss. And they did, in McConaughey. Someone with un-natural hair loss like his would benefit 10 fold from hair loss products that normal guys with androgenetic alopecia barely see any results from.
I was reading the blog what was the option product that you where using ?
Regenix may work, but beware of its hefty price and their deceptive consultations. Before starting their three-stage program, I asked how much it would cost. They said it would cost “up to $2,000”. However, I quickly spent more than $3,000 and was still only in the second stage (the third being the longest they said). When I expressed disappointment about the original quote being misleading, their technician warned me if I stopped I’d quickly lose what I had. Despite what seemed a scare tactic, I couldn’t afford to continue. After inquiring about a refund on the phone, they hung up on me. Now I’m out a lot of money…but have found a much cheaper alternative!
I used Regenix because I found it in a Thrift Store as a set really cheap. I don’t have bald spots but my hair was coming out at an alarming rate filling my hairbrush every day. After only a week or two almost no hair was coming out! (I only shampoo my hair once or twice a week) It’s amazing! And I only used two of the three products in the set: 1-Moisture Balancing Conditioner Shampoo and 2-Essential Scalp Cleanser. When you finish with the two your hair just squeaks from cleanliness. It must clear the pores so the hair can breathe or something like that.
I’m going to buy these two again and let my husband try them. He is starting to bald on his crown–they’re only $12.25 each. Won’t break the bank!
Happy Customer!
i do not llike regenix at all i ti sa scam
Regenix is a very very expensive program. I’ve used it for over two years with no results at all… nothing and spend well over 5000 dollars. Still loosing the hair at a similar rate when began. It never stopped or even reduced while on the treatment. I am really mad and would not recommend ever to anyone. They were trying to get into a treatment program to keep the hair what I have…and not talking about anymore growth and that was when I quit.
If you fall into this program ask referrals with contact numbers, before and after photos but then how would one know whether it is genuine anyways.
This is a honest a very disappointed customer of Regenix.
As Rob said in number three above if they say you are going to lose your hair if you stop treatment… that is a stinky scare tactic that they pull on you.
Yes, if they say all money is refundable, if the treatment is not working… which they said to me… that is not true either. Their treatment is endless. Stage three is the longest like Rob said but no definitive time period. Yeah! it depends on individuals but do you want to continue paying hefty price tag as long as they want to when right in front of your eyes the so called treatment is not working.
You decide!
Rob- what is the much cheaper alternative that you’ve found?
I’ve been using Regenix for about 3 months. However my hair is very dry and coarse is this from regenix. It is growing coarse.
RE REGENIX
IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO USE THEM, ASK THEM TO SHOW YOU SOME OF THEIR “BEFORE” AND “AFTER” PHOTOS. GUESS WHAT??? THEY DON’T HAVE ANY!!! WHY??? IT DOESN’T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!
I am in my 50’s and my daughter 20. We both started REGENIX about 7 months ago. We have spent $3000 and are in phase 3. I have noticed no change in my hair. It is not any thicker and I have not noticed any regrowth. My daughter who has thin hair is about the same. GREAT MARKETING AND HIGH PRICE IS WHY THEY KEEP BRINGING IN SUCKERS LIKE ME
Regenix works but makes your hair feel terrible. My hair was dry, unmanageable, and unhealthy looking. However, I did grow new hair so it’s a bit of a toss up.
I’m a 34 year old male who has been using Regenix products for three years now (and spend well over $6,000) – sadly even though I was told I’m progressing nicely and showing good promise, there has been no visable changes to my thinning hair. Recently I went for a checkup and mentioned my frustration, only for the specialist to answer “well that means we now are going to move you to our maintanance program” – to me this is BS!
If anyone else is having big issues and is fed up please send me an email and we’ll talk. I’m seriously considering to contact a lawyer to see what my options are …

This program sucks, and the people who work there are stupid. Like someone said i have never seen before or after pictures but they claim “everyones hair is different.” Complete bullshit. This program will NOT work for men with male pattern baldness. Matthew McConaughey is lieing fake steroid user. This cause hair loss. And guess what? He shaved his had, got a transplant surgery, disappeared for 6 months, and went on Letterman and claimed it was “Reginix”. I guess it was a better alternative then the route Travalota went. Like i said this program is a fucking scam, you will spend a fortune, and there only claim to fame is Matthew McConaughey! What a joke.
You are all right on!!! I have been using regehix since April 2010 nothing is happening… if anything I am losing more hair then before. I will not go any furter with this product.
I started using Regenix last Oct. I think I did see new growth and my hair stylist said she could see a lot of short hairs all about the same length, in other words it wasn’t breakage. First the hairs were all about an inch and a half long, then two inches. My hair is shoulder-length and so they really showed up. I noticed much less hair loss too. Then I stopped using it so regularly as it’s costly and time-consuming. Recently I’ve noticed more hair loss again. I have not had my hair re-analyzed, as I want to set aside time to go in and talk with someone vs just sending a sample. It’s a 1 1/2 hour drive. I agree it leaves my hair like straw, as another blogger claimed. Since I remember a Regenix person telling me I could use any conditioner as long as I keep it off the scalp (theirs is designed to completely wash out with no build-up), I bought a leave-in conditioning spray that I am going to start using.
I am so happy with Regenix! I have been using it for 3 months. I already am seeing a difference in my hairline and it got rid of all of my dandruff. I can’t wait to see how much more my hairlne fills in! This really does work. So glad that I found it.
Just started with the regenix program, I am about halfway through the jump start kit, which you use for the first month. The “bio-oil” they have you put in your hair makes a noticeable difference – the first time after I used it two people in my office asked if my hair was thicker, and if I had colored it (it is normally dark brown with a little noticeable grey but seems darker when I apply this stuff). So I guess the early results are encouraging, although I have no idea if regenix is helping my scalp, which is the point of it.
Note – I already have a lot of hair, so I don’t know how much this thickening effect would help on someone with less. Also, I suspect a bunch of my hair fell out after I colored it twice in succession several months ago – I had some recession before that but not really any thinning and I don’t find hair in the sink or on my pillow or anything. So it is possible that my hair will come back on its own without help from regenix. Still, if anyone is interested I will come back and post updates.
39 y/o male.
What a dick Matthew is for promoting this snake oil. We all know he didn{t recover his youthful hairline from this! LOL. So many men searching for a good solution, and Matt has found one. Instead of helping other men, he misleads them for his own benefit, or amusement, or who knows what.
Regenix works great for me. I’ve been using it for a year. I saw a huge difference around 6 months in. It probably would have worked sooner, but I wasn’t following the directions properly. I can’t believe how affordable their shampoo and conditioner is. It leaves your hair perfect. When I used my other shampoos it made my hair like straw, I think only theirs gets all the treatment out or something because since I started used the Regenix shampoo and conditioner my hair looks like it was grown on a high school kid and I’m 65.
I spend a lot on good hair products anyways, so Regenix isn’t priced high to me, especially since I grew so much hair back and no I didn’t get un natural hair plugs or use weird drugs to help grow it back.
