ProCede
What have you heard about Procede? Just saw a commercial for it today.
ProCede appears to be a range of products to:
- thicken the hair
- darken the scalp
- shampoo, condition, etc
The pictures on the product’s official site are clearly the results of a scalp darkening agent (a type of powder or paint). There is a suggestion on their site that it may regrow hair, but I sincerely doubt it. It may be a better shampoo, or a better hair thickener, or better scalp coloring agent, but your guess is as good as mine would be. They do state on their official site that ProCede can give the “appearance of a healthy, thicker, fuller hair shaft”, and that it is a cosmetic product. There does not seem to be anything new here.
Procede is just that, it is a coloring agent with a thinkener. Just listen to the ad, “it will -HELP_ improve the appearance of thinker fuller hair. It does not grow hair!
will procede work if u have alopecia? please e mail me back!
I applied procede 48 hrs back and I am experiencing a huge hair loss. I am ready planning to sue the company if my scalp starts shining.
There is not much of appreciation for the product on the internet. Pls, be cautious before you use the sucker.
The ad says 19.99 for everything but the small print says that they will charge you 200 dollars. A total rip-off. Customer service is terrible and the product does not work. It makes your hair fall off.
i used procede today … so far no hair fallout .. but its only been a couple of hours .. definately worried … AND i bought it 130 days ago so money back is out of the question too …
anyone who used this stuff .. ? what was the long term result ? thanks
I applied the Procede to my husband head and within 3 days hair was actually growing! It is now filling in portions of his “bald” spot. Just applied second application. Can’t wait to see results. I highly recomend this product…going to balance of bottle now on my brother-in-law. Seems to work great for us! Maybe works on people differently, but we are buying the next 3 month supply.
So far so good. About to apply my 2nd treatment & my wife is convinced my hair is thicker this time around. No complaints.
I tried Procede a year ago. I have thining hair, but am not balding. My was matted for almost a week. Shampoo could not give it body. After a week my hair began to fall out. I also notice the inch square on my wrist for alergy test also had hair loss. Now I know they say you will expience hair loss and to avoid the contact with existing hair – but that is impossible. I did get a full refund. After one year my hair growth is darker, healthier looking but the density problem did not improve.I also use a hair comb. Here is main problem. After 1 year my hair has stop growing. I have had only 2 inches of growth for sometime. The rest of my hair grows at a normal rate, but not on top in the front I am using suplements, but I am beginning to worry. So I would not suggest trying this product because of it’s mixed results.
Tried the product,
worthless,
all it did was goop my hair and make it look all knotted up, and now I have gooped up lines of hair on my head,
horrible product
and the $19.95 special is for shipping only, you will be charged $200from them on your Credit Card
next time I amin Hollywood, I am going to have a talk with Mr. Franco for endorsing a worthless horrible useless product
dont waste your time
just go online and try home remedies,
I applied the product correctly to a client and it was the worst thing i’ve ever seen in all my years as a stylist. it looked like singed pubic hair and fell out in clumps. it changed color. it was beyond horrible. what a nightmare. it had nothing to do with applying it incorrectly. the product is terrible. the worst part is i am afraid his hair will never come back and he is YOUNG. it’s a young man with premature male pattern baldness, thinning. as a business owner i will be telling EVERYONE to NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS PRODUCT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. this poor man is only 25 and he has to wear a HAT to go out in public now. even clippering his hair down to as short as it can go left a circle of horror that is matted to his head and singed. i am in shock.
well as son as openedthe bottle my wife, smelling this from the next room was wondering why I had NAIR? the hair remover? I said please and proceeded to do the test on my arm…..well the results were bafflin….. my hair was removed in a clean patch and those that wer left were dried fried and curly…..upon showin my wife she was like see I told you it was Nair!
WHEW! thanks for the feedback! I think the positive revues were probably from the company. like my buddy told me, if it were THAT good, it would be all over the news, not on a commercial.. I AGREE!
I am a female bleached blonde with thinning spots. My hairdresser applied the product as directed. One month later my hair LOOKS thicker. The hair within the thinning spots LOoKS thicker.
I bought it with the understanding it only made hair LOOK thicker, and that is what it did for me.

I wish I had found this website before I used Procede last weekend… I have (had) very fine hair and was begining to thin on top… I purchased and applied Procede as per the instructions… Within an hour my hair was burned to a crisp… It became matted, darker in color and lost all of it’s volume & body… My scalp had a chemical burn… This is after I had no problems with the allergy test… Where I was merely thinning before, I am now partially bald… Pissed off does not adequately describe my sentiments at this point… BRO42’s comments above are obvious corporate propaganda…
I bought procede; but after reading numerous commentaries online, I became aprehensive. I have a very old (13) English bulldog who has been experiencing hair thinning and loss. I applied a small amount, exactly per the directions, to a baseball card balding spot on the side of his neck. The next day his head fell off. It appears to be a chemical severing. I will be bringing the head to Guiseppie for comment.
I’m on board with what you guys are all saying. same thing happened to me, i applied it as per the instructions and my hair became matted and hard. i looked like i had permanent bed head and couldn’t even wash the crap out of my hair. went to my stylist who said she’s never seen anything like it. my hair started falling out in spot also. i should have known giuseppe franco was insane when i saw him hugging that nut job gary busey on the informerical. what an awkward looking moment.
procede is a total scam!
franco is a company puppet
if you use this product , you will lose both money and hair
I used the procede exactly as instructed. After one week, I actually had hair growing. It definately not as thick as it was when before it started thinning. But, it is definately better. No, I don’t work for any company affiliated with Procede. I was like everyone else and skeptical to even use the product. It actually took me about 2 months after getting it, to even apply it.
funny I sned them back their crap return receipt and Im gettin calls ” gee mr reger whats wrong with the product we at procede care ” yeah they care cause I stopped payment sons of ^%$&^%$es
PS they give a return sheet to sign and send back immediately supposably to gaurantee money back——read between the lines it contractually binds you to actually use the crap and wait 3+1 =4 months for a refund
everybody is talking to much about this product PROCEDE and nobody showed me or others the result bad or good.
im confused now and i think i will just accept the fact that im going bald.
even that i think…there is product that works good over there but im tired of spending my money on those product that only fill it up my bathroom.
somebody help,i want the truth.
BEN
The product is ineffective in growing hair. Just another lotion with alot of promises and poor results. Notice in the commercial that you see “users” of this product with thick hair. What they fail to do is show them before they used procede. Totally dishonest approach. We’re back to snake oil vendors. It’s a big con job that preys off the insecure. The bottom line is NO PRODUCT GROWS HAIR BACK. It’s in the genes and the only known treatment is to have a hair transplant and that doesn’t always guarantee quality results and costs a fortune.
Reading some of the comments above has just confirmed my suspicions about this product and its principal spokesperson. It simply sounded too good to be true. I was considering purchasing ProCede but was turned off immediately by Giuseppe Franco’s waffling in the commercial. On the one hand he states that “he doesn’t own the company, and doesn’t know anything about itâ€, while on the other claiming that “he’s Giuseppe Franco, and he wouldn’t put his name to a product that doesn’t workâ€, or something to that effect. As someone who has made a good living as a salesman myself over the years, I can assure anyone reading this that whenever you see someone equivocate like Franco did during his ProCede sales pitch, both the salesman and the product he’s hawking are completely full of crap.
This stuff is worthless! It is unbelievable that a company can be so unethical. If I was not a strong willed man I would probably commit suicide from the depression I have ever since I used this product. My hair actually started falling off!!!! PLEASE GUYS, I THINK IT’S BETTER TO BE BALD THAN TO LOOK THE WAY I DO NOW!
Thank you for your comments. This morning I bought the product but after I saw these webpage I call and told them about what I was seeing in this page they are suppose to return my money MANY THANKS AND SORRY TO THOSE WHO USED IT.
I am sad for all the nice people who bought this and got worst conditions. My husband is has thining hair, but I think is sexy. So please stay the way you are and do not spend your money in this product. I was going to get this product for my hubby but now, no way. Sheers!
There is no cure for hairloss. Go natural and let it shine!!
I was thinking about to buy this product because I like my hair. I am losing hair slowly since 2004, it is still looking good but it is getting thinning for sure. After having read your comments I will not buy this product but it is difficult to believe that there is no answer for baldness and thinning hair. Come on! It is 21st Century! Dr. Rassman, is there any efective product out there? What are your comments about ERVAMATIN?
So it is basically scalp paint mixed with mascara. No thanks.
I liked the idea of having the hair of my 20’s again, but I think I’ll bite the bullet and shave my head completely (it’s elegant, masculine and sexy).
Can anyone tell me how i can get refund fm them. The product did not work and their customer service phone # never work. do you guys know where i can send the crap back to them?
I have gone thru 3 applications of Procede (9 Months of Use) and my hair has gotten thicker. It’s sort of weird, when I applied procede, 1 out of 3 times, I experienced what seemed to be hair loss or thinning, then after a week or so, I experienced the growth of thicker/fuller hair. I do believe the product works (and yes, it does make the hair darker, but I could also physically feel the difference in thickness), but I also believe that it is one of those things that the body gets used to and less responsive to over time. My results from my third application were no way as impressive as it was on the first go ’round.
I tried procede and it does get worse before it gets better, but it did work ultimately. It made my hair feel clumpy and It does not grow the hair back but gives the appearance of thicker hair by bonding the hair together. I thought the product was good and I am considering buying it agian. My only issue with the company is they told me it was $19.95 and they ended up billing me $200, which ticked me off.
I had purchased the product on ebay in 10/06 and waited until 07/07 to try it out only due to lack of time. Like the majority of people who have left comments here, my experience was not a pleasant one, although the long term outcome has been good, and I did not apply it properly. It(step 1) must have a depilatory(like Nair) in it, that gives it the characteristic odor and explains the need for a neutralizer(step 2). I have a short haircut to begin with, unfortunately I applied it too liberally to my scalp and it “fried” my hair. For the next week or so I was desperately trying salon conditioning and repair products, especially the “leave in” type just to make my hair manageable, possibly that is why I didn’t experience the fallout many others have. I had to wear a baseball cap for about a week, even at work with the excuse that I had a scalp psoriasis outbreak and had medication I had to leave in. Within a few weeks I was able to get a haircut and gradually my hair started to look fuller. I had bought a four month supply for about $200 on ebay and only used 1 treatment, 9 months ago, leaving me with 3 treatments left. I am wary about using it again, but I think I will spike my hair before applying step to avoid contact with the hair. Either that or getting my scalp buzzed and applying it all over, but I have light skin, so I don’t think it would look very well. I also noticed that it changed the pattern in which my hair grows, but the overall appearance is better and finally I noticed the hair feels more coarse.
Procede is a Scam. I bought it and started using it every 3 months, just like they instruct, and my hair started falling even faster. I had to see a doctor.
Dont waste your time, your money and your patiente.
Regards,
Soul
This product is what most of the other users have stated. It dosent’ work. Why hasn’t the FDA approved this crap? I believe the majority of positive feedback is made by the company. Buyer beware!
Let’s sue this Procede company together.
This scam cannot be left alone anymore.
More people can be victimized.
A class action law suit againt this ridiculous company who sells such products.
I lost lots of hair like others, they’re burnt and disappeared.
laughing at all you people..
good thing i read your funny stories before i ordered it
I used procede and now even my hairy ass is going bald
Wow! I was going to buy the product today. I saw it on TV last night here in South Africa. I’m not buying it…let nature take it’s cause.
i wish i looked this site up before my first use. i have thinning hair but i keep my head shaved pretty short. proceed did nothing but burn my scalp and a few days after i used it i lost even more hair. nothing has grown back, im balder than ever and im not sure where i should take it from here. its been about a month since i used it and im definatly not going to apply it again. i also noticed that not only my scalp burned but the front of my forehead all the way down to my eyes burned for about a week after i used it. no i did not put a single drop on my forehead.
I would gladly participate in a class-action lawsuit against PROCEDE!! Like many of you, the results were horrific and my hair was burned and clumps started to fall out!! My hair is damaged and in worse condition than it was before and has left bald spots!! I wished I never used Procede!! If you are interested, please email me at kvnsas@sbcglobal.net. I would really like to take some action against this SCAM!!
I had the same experience as the majority of you when I first applied it over my scalp, believe me, I wanted to cry and smash the product on Guissepe’s face, I looked like Gollum (that little monster on the Lord of the Rings movie) my hair was burned and fell off my head, luckly over the days one month to be exact, my hair grew back as normal as it was before the application but nothing more than that, I got scared as ever and no longer using this product, I strongly RECOMMEND NOT TO USE Procede, no matter how desperate you are, accept yourself and live freely.
I saw the commercial on a local cable network. I purchased it with my credit card and it arrived before election day on 2005. I was waiting to use this product because my hair was so thin in the back. The rest of my hair was in fine condition. Hair transplants were considered and even other topical products. My hair was not that bad but when I used this product my life changed. I used it on election night. I was thinking how good it would be to use this and regain my hair. It seemed inexpensive if you consider the transplants and the healing time for them.
This is a horrible product. My hair clumped and fell out in 24 hours and continued to fall out. I had to go to Hair Club in a week and they were able to make me look good. I used a new kind of hair piece that is attached with clips and the hair is put through the cap. I never regained my hair back… The company insisted that I used the product incorrectly but they are not correct. I even wanted to sue the company but lawyers won’t take on such a case. It is kind of a buyer’s beware thing. How this product is still available… I don’t no? I think it has a acid base… It smells like sulphur and it also changes the hair to clumps… I have used Rogaine but never had a problem with rogaine.. It helped me to stop losing existing hair…
This product is Horrible… The company should stop making it.
There has to be many others who had this nightmare… It would be horrible for a women if she used this. Please publish this article…It is very important… Also this product if left long enough may burn the scalp. Dangerous can also be added to the Horror list.
