The scar that shows, is the result of hair loss from the surgery, a non uncommon happening after any facial or hairline surgery, especially when performed in men. Pimples may reflect retained hair shafts from the hair transplant or they may reflect an infection. I would go back and see your surgeon to find out which of these is your situation
At 3 months, all of the grafts may not have started to grow. It is not unusual to see non-uniform growth in a hair transplants but by the 8th months, more than 80% of it should have grown everywhere and even out the difference if there was no problem with the surgery. Otherwise, speak with your surgeon by the 9th month.
When this happens, I would go back to the surgeon who performed the surgey and that surgeon should make this ‘right’ filling in the defect with bone cement and correcting the scar.

Men should rarely get hairline advancement surgery because of the risk of genetic balding that can appear at almost any age and show a scar when that happens. There is no need for a balloon expander in your situation as a hair transplant is more than adequate to address your hairline issue and less intrusive and less disruptive on your life style and certainly far less costly? Dyes can produce chemical burns and ‘kill’ hairs permanently. If it does not grow back in 6 months, then you may have produced a chemical burn to your hair follicles and they may not grow back. If there is going to be a recovery, the hair cycle usually kicks in and starts growing within about 6 months or less after the injury or earlier. See a specialist either now or certainly in 6 months?
Some people have irregular hairlines and they often develop by as early as 5 years old. I studied 1000 children of different ages and saw such hairlines in a few boys and more so, in girls. For males, this can be fixed after you are 25 years or age when your balding pattern, if any, is evident. If you are a female, then you can fix this if it bother you anytime you are over 18 as balding is usually not a problem in females.
