Loss of Hair After Hair Line Lowering Procedure in Woman (Photo)

A female had a hair line advancement surgery, then she lost her hair behind the advanced hairline. The scar from the hair line advancement is shown above. The black line is where she now wants the hair line to be placed, so that it hides the scar from the previous surgery. Hair loss, a known complication of this type of surgery produces (1) further recession of the hair line, (2) visualization of the scar from the surgical incision, and (3) often more corner hair loss, not uncommon in women who have facial surgery or just age.
