Trying Various Products for My Thinning in the Crown

Hello. I’m 32, and have had some thinning in the back of my head for the past 2 years. I’ve been using Nioxin Cleanser, Scalp Therapy and Follicle Booster for the past year but haven’t noticed much of a difference in hair loss or any hair regrowth. If you looked directly at me from a frontal shot, you’d have no idea that I’m thinning in the back. I don’t have a receeding hairline. My hair type is curly/wavy.

If I’m not interested in a hair replacement procedure or any other sort of procedure, is there any other products (topical, cleanser, pills) you can recommend? Or am I wasting my time and let nature take it’s course, and then just shave myself bald?

What I would want to know is the amount of miniaturization that you have and its contribution to the thinning that you are experiencing. If there is a great deal of miniaturization, then finasteride is the best answer, but that requires a doctor’s prescription. Alternatively, minoxidil can be purchased over the counter without a doctor’s prescription, but it is not as effective and will not prevent the progression of the miniaturization.
