Does hair loss come from loss of scalp blood supply?

The scalp has a very high blood flow when there is a full head of hair. As hair is lost from genetic balding, the body reduces the blood supply to the scalp (not the other way around). I had a patient who stood on his head 2 hours/day for a year to bring more blood to his scalp, he still became bald until I transplanted him. With the new hair, the blood supply to the scalp increased.
