Finasteride vs dutasteride?

Started with oral finasteride and switched to topical after years of use once low libido and ED side effects started. Topical had been working well for a few years, but now once again suffering from low libido and ED. I understand Duasteride is stronger, but does anyone know or have anecdotal experience with switching medications and not having the same adverse side effects? Is there a chance Duasteride won’t cause the same issues or am I just going to have to give up on my battle with hair loss?

If finasteride causes low libido, the dutasteride will also do the same however, the dutasteride, with its long half-life of 4-6 weeks, will take many months to get out of your system, unlike finasteride, which has a half-life of 4-6 hours.
