I was listening to the Joe Rogan podcast and was really surprised when he mentioned that he won’t shave his head because he had a transplant a few years ago and has a scar. I always wondered why he DIDN’T have a transplant when I would see him on TV but was kind of surprised that he says he had one. Do you think he was misinformed as to what his eventual loss would be?
Your guess is as good as mine. I do not know the circumstance of actor/comedian/host Joe Rogan’s hair loss or the treatment he had. It’s possible that he had the surgery many years ago and had continued hair loss, but I really don’t know.
Someone might mention to him that we can treat his scar with either a scar revision or Scalp MicroPigmentation (SMP).

It appears that Joe Rogan had a transplant that erred very much on the conservative side (recessed corners and not-great density at the hairline). There are any number of possible reasons for this (wanted to preserve grafts for the future, was nervous about having a very large procedure, etc.)
He also mentioned (I personally heard him say this in an interview) that he had a scalp reduction. What this leads me to believe is that he must have had a hair transplant many years ago.
He recently shaved it. We need to find out what he used to address the scar. I haven’t seen it up close but from the angles I’ve seen it can’t be detected.
Someone find out and post!!! It would be a huge help to know what celebrities are doing.

I would also like to know about scar reduction. Seems the donor area , if taken too low can be very difficult to work with…..as in my case….would like to understand what joe may have used as I know the scar has been. A problem for him in past…..
