Aderans Expands Clinical Studies
I´ve found updates from Histogen and Aderans. What can you say about this? Thank you.
Histogen: Hypoxia Induces Stem Cell Gene Expression, Protein Production and Cell Surface Markers
Thanks for sending these links. Each press release speaks for itself. The Histogen press release isn’t specifically about their hair loss treatment (they have multiple products unrelated to hair loss treatment), but the Aderans Phase 2 clinical trials expansion is for hair regeneration. Once the studies have concluded, they will hopefully be published with the FDA and then we will know better about what is offered.
Maybe we’ll see a cure after all?
One can only hope.
hairloss is not over until the fat lady sings
in other words don’t expect anything until there is a product on market, medicines have failed phase 2 trials before they have failed phase 3 before and even been recalled after release, it could take 1 bad result for all this to go to the bin
Chris, no one is forcing you to come and this site and read the blogs – if they iritate you that much, then spend your valuable internet time elsewhere…
As with most drug development, it is highly unlikely that these experimental
approaches will be successful. If phase 2 trials are successful, the
results will be announced to the general public and Dr
Rassman at the same time and through either a company
press release or presentation at a scientific meeting. The FDA
only lists results once a drug is approved (ie has finished
phase 3 testing and received regulatory approval). Readers must appreciate
that Dr Rassman is not psychic and is not
privy to results from companies that are not publicly announced.
It should also be appreciated that there are many years and tens
of millions of dollars between studying a procedure or drug and the rare event
of approval.
I’m sure the doctors are trying to be as un-biased as possible, professional while not over hyping something. Which I respect. But when they feature the Acell treatment and development (seen at the top of the blog) one can be a little sceptical and think that the blog is a little partisan when it comes to Acell…Of course i totally understand this, it is your blog
