Any Sibling Balding Pattern Insight?

I was just curious if you had any insight into the family genetics of balding. More specifically, my hair has been thinning since I was 22 (I’m now 28), whereas my older brother (who’s now 31) has experienced no loss or thinning of any kind. I’ve noticed a similar pattern with a friend of mine. My friend, the oldest, has experienced no hair loss, but his younger brother has. Is there a specific reason for this? Will both my brother and my friend “catch up” to their younger siblings or is this just part of the natural order?

There is no connection and what you are looking for reflects that sometimes life is just not fair. Some siblings never lose hair while others suffer from considerable hair loss. You should always see a doctor and set up a Master Plan that may include drugs like finasteride to slow, stop, and possibly reverse the hair loss.
