Around the Web — HairMax LaserComb
I’m still getting inquiries about the LaserComb, and there’s really not much else left to say about it at this point, but I did find some new links worth sharing:
- Overview on technology blog Gizmodo — Hands On with the HairMax Laser Comb
- Parody from The Onion — FDA Approves Laser Comb
- Reasonable assessment on the values the various modalities bring from USA Today — Grasping at strands for baldness remedies
Doctor,
I think you really don t do yourself a good job by posting links with parodies. It is obvious that you are rather a conservative man. It almost looks like you really DON T WANT THAT STUFF TO WORK :) If you, as a doctor, were not able to evaluate the tool yourself (and I ask “how is that possible that you don t gather information on these products when you have so much better opportunities than your readers”), then it is correct that you state you are not convinced. What i find pathetic, however, is that your comments exceed the zone of neutrality. You are negative about something you admit haven t tested. Sending links that parody such a product proves you are not such an authority I would expect you to be.
John,
I pointed out that it was a parody, so I don’t see the problem. I also posted a lot of non-parody links to give a full perspective. You really can’t find the humor in that page on The Onion? I guess I can’t please everyone.
