I have bumps where my grafts are growing and they can be seen at the hairline, why?
Sometimes bumps along the recipient area reflect how the grafts were placed or how the grafts were prepared. Grafts placed too high and not flush with the skin can cause bumps or grafts that have too much skin on them also cause cause bumps. You will know if this happened as it would have been evident immediately after the initial surgery. When we prepare grafts regardless of whether it is strip or FUE, we trim all of the skin off of the grafts and always place them flush with the skin.
