New breakthrough medications are soon coming to the market. Last but not least, a hair transplant done by an experienced surgeon works and holds for decades, possibly to when you will be older than Joe Biden (he had his hair transplants in the 1980s) before they were repaired to look better. This is a good response in the crown to finasteride use after one year. A year is a reasonable time frame to expect growth for the crown.
You are very sensitive to the benefits of finasteride so that even a half dose gave your some reasonable results in a short time. More time will just be better than what you have now.
