Climara and Female Hair Loss?

Since my hysterctomy 4yrs ago I have used the Climara patch with great results-no side effects. When changed to a pill form, generic. Loss of hair has been significant and non stop for over a year now. Is it the pill vs. patch? or could it be generic vs. brand name? Help-I’m going bald! I keep reading loss of estrogen can cause hair loss, not taking estrogen?? I am now 50, please don’t say it’s age related!

That medication is outside my area of specialization, but in looking up the side effects of Climara (estradiol), there are many sites and many reports of thinning or balding from this medication. Check with your doctor, as that has to be a better source than I am in this case.
