took steriod called D-BOL four months ago.I only took five of the thirty month cycle.I noticed three weeks later my hair was reciding a little bit.I do have family history but not in there twenties.I used to have very thick hair only five months ago.Took D-BOL only five pills like i said.Thats only over two week period, can only five steriod pills cause this.I am very depressed to see my hair keeps getting wourse by the day.Wake up see minertrized hairs more by the day.Five months ago and still thinning. Is this a permedent thing now.My main question is will my hair regrow with time,or is it gone for good. And will my hair stop thinning and go back.I mean I thought steriods leave the body in four weeks also given the fact I only took five pills. Will my body correct itself or is the steriod effects ganna stay and mess with my hair forever.please your answer would be a big help.I am 22 male.I am getting upset to the point were im ganna take 6 avodart a day plus 3 saw p pills and laser comb for an hour on the hairline. My hair loss is in the front only.Very thick hair five months ago,now thinning over five pills I took five months ago.It should be long gone uot of my hair by now.
Steroids are strange in that they theoretically can kick-start a balding process. It is possible that a short course of steroids might start what may have otherwise taken years to start. Once started, anything goes. Your question should be: Do I have active genetic hair loss? The answer is get yourself examined; have your scalp mapped out for miniaturization to find out if you have genetic balding. With that knowledge, you can make intelligent decisions on what to do. Also, it might be worthwhile to read previous blog entries relating to steroids and hair loss.
The hair you are losing -today- you essentially lost three months ago.
That is the cycle, so it would be wise to look back on what has occurred recently to try and formulate a cuase.
But keep in mind this may be circumstantial, thus you may have been pre-programmed to lose your hair now anyway.
Because if the steroids are causing loss, then it should be possible to reverse the loss unless of course it was meant to happen anyway then the steroids are not the cause.
Whether or not the steroids kick start the process, well I am not convinced.
Try a full body detox, rework your diet completely at a moderate pace and investiage the use of essential fatty acids such as Omega 3’s & 6’s particuarly Fish Oil, Borage and Black Current Oils.
Hopefully you yield some results.
Steroids are far safer than most other “drugs†and rarely cause bad side effects. Steroids have a bad rap because of the very few number of people that abuse them. There is no reason for the government to keep them illegal as their illegality adds to their danger (impurities, homemade steroids, etc.). If you want to do steroids more safely then work to legalize them.
For the past several years – everytime I did a cycle, I’ve been noticing that my hair was thinning; I used to have really thick hair. I didn’t think much of it until about a year ago when I started to get really self conscious about it and every year I could see more and more of my scalp. It wasn’t to the point of being bald and having to use Rogaine but something needed to be done.
I found Shielo’s Volume Shampoo & Conditioner and although it seemed expensive, and for women, I decided to try it out based on the positive reviews. I’m very glad that I did. I’ve been using it for 4 months now and I can definitely feel a difference and my girlfriend has commented that she can see and feel the difference too.
I use it everyday and you don’t need to use much for a guy with short hair. As soon as I used it, my hair felt a little different than my standard shampoo and I’d have to say that it took about a couple of months to start to feel and see a significant improvement.
This shampoo should be used at least 5 times a week and smells great, it’s like an apple smell; I don’t experience any stinging. My hair seems to also grow faster so I need more frequent hair cuts but that’s not something I’m complaining about; it’s definitely hair growth stimulating. This is not for someone who is already bald and wants to grow back hair on a bald spot. This is more for someone who has started to see and feel their hair thinning and wants to stop it from getting worse and get some thickness back in their hair. My hair is not what it was 10 years ago but it looks and feels a lot better now and it combs better too. Highly recommended; it’s worth the price for me.
