Densely Packed Hair Transplant?
I am a little concerned. I have had 2 consultations with 2 very prominent doctors in the field of H.T. Surgery. Both were very warm doctors, with the first doctor offering a much lengthier and thorough consultation. My concern is that the first doctor suggested about 650 grafts and the second doctor suggested almost three times that amount (for $2,000 more). My concerns are why the diffenence in suggested procedures? Should I consider the “dense packing” suggested by doctor #2?
Without seeing what your pattern is, I can not give you an answer to your question. Without knowing the doctor and his/her ability to perform dense packing, I also can not give you an answer. If you send me a photo, I might be able to tell you which one of the two doctors is closer to get you a good result, but then the actual delivery is the issue. We have hundreds of patients featured on our NHI photo galleries, complete with before and after photos, how many transplants they received, and what their balding pattern looked like. You should try to match what you look like to these pictures for a realistic assessment of what you may need. Also, I have written a book to help people like you through the decisions, called The Patient’s Guide to Hair Restoration.
your clinic has done 2 sessions on my hair and
each session you transplanted around 850 because
of limited donor from my backhair because of high hairline.I was advised that I can not get
donor hair from the sides because of the nerve
issue. My question now is, can we now get donor
hair from the sides of my head using the fox
procedure?
Thanks
650 grafts seems like a very small procedure. It would have to be onlt to cover a small area.1000 grafts is still small.
