Eating Meat That Contain Steroids. Does It ImpaceHair Loss?
Dr is it possible to experience an acceleration of genetic hairloss from eating meat? I have heard meats are pumped with steroids and hormones can that have a negative impact on someone with genetic hairloss?
I would doubt it as the US Department of Agriculture tests meat products for things like steroids and antibiotics. If you are concerned, switch to grain fed beef that is Organic.
Well, I do know the picture posted and its NOT a US cow… This is a cow that has been in development over time, that has not used Steroids, and has only been bread to be this size… I know it looks like steroids and hormones,, ( there is nothing wrong with antibiotics,,, we all take them,,, ),,, grain fed beef sucks and is NOT organic…. Organic is grass fed beef.. your LUCKY to get grains that are organic,,, IF YOU WANT PURE ORGANIC RAISED BEEF… find beef that is raised locally, strictly grass fed… this is how cows were raised before they were grain fed.. in open fields… before the big industry took over and started grain feeding… I am looking into raising 100% grass fed Scottish Highlands… not hard to do with Barley fodder and during the summer months,,, they eat Barley fodder and anything in the field… How do you think they used to do it in the old days,,, changing pastures, paddocks and such…no grain,,, cattle actually weren’t meant to be raised on grain,,, it just helps them fatten up faster…. NOW, fodder is just hay, raised in a hydro-system environment, like growing grass in your yard,,, growing Barley sprouts, ( like barley hay ) but in a growing environment to keep food all year round, and not worry about how much land you have for food… during the summer, the cattle still get there roughage,,, this way, it has been healthier for the cattle,,, it has been proven, they dont get as sick as much,,, they digest their food better,, and they get more nutrients than just hay, and forage alone… AND, its healthier than grain fed… There has been plenty of study done to prove to me to raise my cattle on fodder and forage… nothing else,,, no need, and its what they are used to if they were raised in the wild… they dont forage grain in the wild,,, they forage grass, shrubs, greens….
