Hair Transplants for Long Hair?
I have long hair, and I’ve been taking Propecia for around a year. The results seem to be good, however, I am considering a transplant. In all the pictures I have seen, men receiving transplants tend to have very short hair. My question is this; do I need cut my hair short for a transplant? Please let me know if pictures would better assist your assesment.
Thanks
No, you do not need to cut your hair short for a hair transplant. Actually, long hair will cover up the surgery in most people and we routinely recommend keeping the hair as long as possible. You may set up a telephone photo consultation with us by filling out the form here or calling 800-NEW-HAIR.
