How is Miniaturization Normal for People Without Baldness?
Hi doc, I just want to know why even people without baldness also have miniaturized hair in their heads, you stated that 20 per cent of miniaturization is normal, can you explain this please.
It has been my observation that people who are not balding can have thin hairs, which I call miniaturized. They may reflect long vellus hairs and are not actually “miniaturized”, but measured from the scalp where the hair exists the skin, it is impossible to note the length of the hair, so I call every hair that I see which has a reduced diameter as miniaturized. From a disease or balding perspective, that may not be accurate, but from an observational point of view, it is backed up by many, many years of experience in my hands.
