I Don’t Have Hair Loss, But My Hair Is Thin — Should I Use Rogaine?
(female)
Hi DoctorI am not experiencing hair loss, but my hair has always been very thin and sparse. What products could your recommend to stimulate hair growth? Is Rogaine foam a product to consider?
Thank you.
In my opinion, Rogaine does a poor job of thickening hair. Rogaine generally grows fine hairs, so using the medication would not really result in too much thickening of your existing hair. You can give it a try if you want to see for yourself.
The best thing that has worked for me is using olive oil believe it or not. It is not only a good cooking agent, but it can also help grow out your hair and make it thicker. What it does it unclog years of trapped dirt and oil.
You just apply it to your scalp at night, leave in and rinse out in the morning. This can be done for just one week and you will notice a difference in your hair’s texture and thickness.Hope this helps.
olive oil…hahaha. Ridiculous.
Consider AHK copper petides of pharmaceutical grade. (not Tricomin)….need to order from labs. You would need to make your own cream version of this medicine. These are useful for helping restore fibrosis which results in lightening of hair and hair loss.
Also…..read some of my other posts on here if you are feeling bad about hair loss. Hair loss is terribly difficult to resolve to the standards we have right now, and I am a hair loss sufferer myself. I still get carded for alcohol and lottery tickets using the approaches I’ve been talking about on this forum under finasteride posts. It’s not easy.
