I Had 3 Transplants and Now Years Later, I’m Losing Those Transplanted Hairs
I am 60 years old and have had 3 hair transplants (micro graphs). Over the past 3 or 4 years I have lost most of the hair I had transplanted and continue to lose on a daily bases. The doner area does not show signs of hair loss, just the hair that was transplsnted seams to effected.
Would taking a drug like Proscar or other drugs help or do you think there may be other problems with my scalp?
Is there any test I can take to determin why I still lose hair.
You need to be evaluated. If the donor hair was not taken from the permanent zone, then you can lose it. I have seen many of the older type of patients lose their hair when the doctors took it from the wrong place. As you are in Orange County, see me in my Newport Beach office. Please call 800-NEW-HAIR if you’d like to setup a free consultation.
