Is Propecia Redundant If I’m Taking Spironolactone?

I started taking Propecia some years ago and now I’m also on Spironolactone. My question is: Is taking both these medication at the same time redundant since the Spironolactone already reduces testosterone?

I would think that the reduction of testosterone is different than the blocking of testosterone’s conversion to DHT, so taking both medications may have value in your case. Of course, you should discuss any and all concerns with your doctor.
