Men Usually Lose Hair In a Particular Order?
Men usually lose hair first in the temporal area, second in the crown, and third, in the vertex or top of the scalp. This is due to the concentration of sweat glands that carry DHT in these areas. So if one where to continuously be flushing sweat daily out of these particular sweat glands with cardiovascular activity fallowed directly by a thorough clean with out giving the sweat time to re saturate itself, why couldn’t that at least help to reduce the concentration of dht? If you could please give brief description on why this would or would not work, that would be great Thanks
I don’t know where you get your information on the cause or the ‘order’ for hair loss. Some men lose hair only in the crown, some only in the hairline — and for those that go completely bald, it can start in the crown or front. There’s no strict order that the body follows. I believe the cause is related strictly to the genetics and flushing it as you suggested will not do much for you.
“thanks for the brief description on why it would or would not work” … sometimes it seems like you avoid certain topics and leave out valuable information …. ??? the order had nothing to do with the actual question??? here is a theory. How about lets say doctor’s discovered two drugs (minoxidil & finasteride) and these two drugs could possibly slow down hair loss in a some what of a large percentage of people!!! Yay… but wait it gets better! The consumer will not only most likely buy this product but will have to keep buying it to keep there hair. now lets see if we can get big drug corporations to buy into these products and pay for the high priced fda testing so we can stamp the nice big fda approved right on the box! that way we can channel the majority of hair loss sufferer’s cash into our pockets! great sounds like a plan…. Real doctor’s who care for there patients, there profession and moral standard will research any given topic related to there specific field and are able to answer the many questions with a brief description on why there chosen methods would or would not work.
Two things you need to realize —
1. Doctors have legal liability issues to contend with. People that write in are NOT my patients and I can only provide general info. See the disclaimer on the right column of every page of this site if you have confusion.
2. I won’t recommend unproven products. The FDA approval means that enough testing was done to satisfy that.
What part of the answer did you miss? I answered the question just fine. If you think I did a poor job with that, use http://www.baldingforum.com to post a new topic.
