Microprecision Follicular Grafting?
This page at https://www.ineedhair.com/microprecision.htm says, “The results of Microprecision Follicular Grafting® are so natural this procedure has become the benchmark by which all other hair restoration methods are judged.”
I’ve never heard of this before. More hype?
Some say “to-may-toe“, others say “to-mah-toe“…
On that note, I would now like to announce a breakthrough discovery of “TP2000” with its microfibers and triple-quilted-soft-texture-smooth sheets. It has become the benchmark by which all toilet paper should be judged.
Seriously speaking, different clinics make up new names for the same thing (maybe tweak things a bit) to claim it is a new technique. When this occur, it reflects poorly on the doctor and the medical group.
If you look very closely at the picture on the site of the medical group using this technique you will notice a clear, straight, unnatural frontal hairline. The frontal hairline seems to be made up of at least 2-hair grafts and there is no transition zone in the front of the hairline, which is a line. If this is the technique that they pioneered, it is a leftover technique abandoned in 1990.
The state of the art (gold standard) is follicular unit transplantation, which was extensively published by NHI’s Dr. William Rassman.
