Nutrifolica
Hi,
I am 22 and my hairline is slightly receding and Im really worried I will end up completely bald. As far as I know there is no history of baldness in my family and everyone in my family seems to have healthy heads of hair. I have been using rogaine for about 6 months and I had found tiny hairs growing back but have seen a product advertised called Nutrifolica – the web site says its great but I cannot seem to find many user reviews. Have you any idea if this product will actually work? Should I stop using rogaine? I have heard some bad things about rogaine and don’t want it backfiring on me! If I do use Nutrifolica instead of rogaine do you think these tiny hairs will fall out? I really want my hairline back to the way it used to be and want some help.
The claims for Nutrifolica state: “While DHT is the primary cause of hair loss several other factors contribute to hair loss such as: poor circulation of the scalp, clogged hair follicles, excessive sebaceous oil and nutrient deficient hair follicles. Nutrifolica is designed to counteract these hair loss causes with 100% pure herbal extracts that have no side effects.”
These claims have no ounce of credibility to them because poor circulation, clogged hair follicles, and excessive sebaceous oils do not cause hair loss. I sound like a broken record — if you are male and want to know what is wrong with you, get a doctor to diagnose it by mapping out your scalp for miniaturization and if you are female, have a doctor do the proper testing for medical diseases that cause hair loss.
We all want to go back to where our hairline used to be!
Nutrifolica is snake oil. Avoid it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, Butler White Ltd UK sell it and don’t honour the money-back guarentee!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been using nutrifolica for 2 months and its regrowed most of my hair on the crown. This is bar none the best stuff i’ve ever used
This issue I have with statements that you have made Dr Rassman is that your diagnosis seems to be centered around appointments with Physicians to book expensive meetings, when it is well known that very few diseases cause hair loss.
Ayurvedic practitioners have been using natural herbs for years to treat hair loss, and now thousands of companies have jumped on board.
Just because something is not medically verified by Physicians does not mean it does not have medical value, nor is it helpful.
There are literally thousands of cases of natural remedies which are as or more effective than traditionally prescribed OTC treatments that most physicians have traditionally and ‘habitually’ cling to prescribing.
It is time that physicians also help to diagnose hair loss and offer helpful solutions – and ones that do not always involve a $13 000 hair restoration financing.
Honestly Jeremy, if I was trying to sell a transplant, I wouldn’t even bother recommending medication. There’s only so much I can offer without seeing someone in person. I’d love to be able to diagnose every problem just from getting a (sometimes vague) email from someone I’ve never met or seen, but it just isn’t that easy.
And as far as your complaint about me recommending people to see a doctor — well, if you don’t know what you’re treating, you could be wasting your time. A doctor will help you understand what you’re treating and the best method to do that.
I’ve never said 100% of the supplements are useless, but when it comes to hair regrowth, there is no proof that supplements do it. And just because it is natural doesn’t make it guaranteed safe.
Nutrifolica shampoo is a very good product. So are most shampoos by Avalon Organics. Nearly all shampoos contain petroleum products – THEY CAUSE HAIR LOSS!!! All natural, organic shampoos (such as Nutrifolica) clean your hair without causing hair loss. Not all shampoos advertised as “organic” are free of petroleum. Check the ingredients: if you see sodium laurel/laureth sulfate – RUN away – those are Petroleum byproducts. I’m also not particularly fond of shampoos with ingredients like DMDM, or any form of methoisothiazolinone (sp?).
I don’t know anything about the Nutrifolica hair treatment (they make a treatment, shampoo, and conditioner) so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of these. However I have found using the organic shampoos plus one other little trick to be really effective in regrowing hair (hair that has not been dead too long) and preserving the hair you have. Long-dead follicles are gone forever.
The other trick: a battery powered, massaging hair brush to promote blood flow to the hair follicles is extremely effective (especially when combined with the all-natural shampoo) in restoring dormant (but not yet dead) follicles. Plus it feels really good too.
Follow these two tips and you should see very noticeable hair regrowth in 2-3 months, but of the two tips, your shampoo choice is the most important.
