Overcoming Hair Cloning Obstacles
Hello
As far as I understand the three main obstacles with hair cloning are:
1) unpredictable direction of growth
2) unpredictable density
3) unpredictable qualityCant all these problems be solved by first injecting the multiplied cells to a different part of your body (for instance the back of you upper leg), wait for the hair to grow out (in a wild unpredictable pattern), and finally transplanting the new hair esthetically to your scalp like you perform an ordinary transplant surgery?
It is not that simple. I was told that the mice that had it done as you suggested (in the late 1980s), had died from overwhelming infection. I wish I could track down a published source to back that up. The answer is far more complex, but this is not the place to write a book on the subject.
