I don’t know much about you and I obviously cannot diagnose your condition, but telogen effluvium can causes eyebrow loss in some cases. Some people just lose the outer 1/3 of their eyebrows as they age. If you have exhausted all possibilities and ruled out all medical issues, eyebrow hair transplantation may be an option. […]

Face lift and hair transplant can be done with the extra hairs harvested from the face lift surgery. But it needs to be coordinated by a hair transplant doctor and be done on the same day. So technically yes, the hairs could be transplanted to your eyebrows… but both procedures need to be organized so […]
You should ask your doctor what condition he is treating. Was it for an allergy? A fungus? An infection? As I have not examined you, I can not give you an opinion on your problem.
We do not typically recommend minoxidil or Latisse (bimatoprost) following an eyebrow transplant. There is no good clinical evidence behind this, but I do realize many doctors recommend this approach. If there is eyebrow loss and flaking I would definitely discuss these issues with your doctor or a dermatologist.
Women lose hair just like men, but in different patterns and stages. Women don’t go bald like men, but they thin out later in life. This can also be genetic as well. For women, there may be other medical issues such as thyroid conditions. There’s a list of possible causes here. In general, medications can […]
Now that is some due diligence! Below are the answers to your questions. Either FUE or FUT will be fine. The key is to prepare one-hair grafts and put them at the correct angle, lying flat so that they do not stick up. I have never seen shock loss of the existing eyebrow hair when […]
Leg hairs do look similar to eyebrow hairs and can grow to about the same length, so it may be an option. The major problem with leg hair is the length of the telogen portion of the hair growth cycle. The telogen component (the period where the hairs are not growing above the skin and […]
Eyebrows gray like other hair. There is little you can do about the graying other than using pencils designed for graying eyebrows or hair.
We’ve written about the need to trim transplanted eyebrows more frequently due to the more rapid growth rate than the rest of the eyebrow hairs. I can assure you that not all surgeons try to hide this. Maybe you saw the wrong surgeons. Generally, you should consider trimming the new eyebrow hair three times a […]
There are cosmetic surgeons who may do this, but I am not one of them. See a good plastic surgeon and ask that question to him/her.
This woman lost her eyebrows after multiple skin cancer surgeries. She had one procedure of 95 grafts into the eyebrow area. She told me that she cuts her new brows short every other day, and absolutely loves the results. Click the photos below to enlarge. Before on left / After on right:
As I’ve written on this site before, we have done many of these types of procedures and the results are very good, but there is an art in the transplant process and a technical skill that is very difficult for many doctors. I’m glad your expectations have been met (or surpassed). Knowing how pleased you […]
It sounds like she might have a medical condition known as trichotillomania, which is a compulsion to pull hair out (which could also explain pain felt in the area). This can occur while your daughter is sleeping, and she is probably unaware that she’s doing it. If a doctor looks at it with magnification, he […]
I wouldn’t think that gently combing your eyebrows in it of itself will cause hair loss. Traction alopecia can possibly occur from the process you are describing if you’re pulling on the eyebrows… and the hairs you see falling out may indicate that what you are doing is too much. I really couldn’t pinpoint the […]
Why don’t you stop rubbing your eyebrow? This habit can cause traction alopecia and permanent loss of some or all of the eyebrow hair. If you have an uncontrollable impulse, the condition is known as trichotillomania. Perhaps you need to consult with a doctor.
