ScalpMed and Hair Growth Rate
Hello Dr. William Rassman. I have heard that scalpmed supposedly thickens your hair but what I want to know is does it speed up the rate of hair growth as well? For example if my hair normally grows a half an inch in a month, could scalpmed make it grow an inch or more in a month?
Nope. The ScalpMed people are promoting their product very heavily and the claims that seem to be coming through internet chatter is unsubstantiated. There is nothing in that product that can make hair grow faster, because in fact, there is no drug anywhere that will make hair grow faster.
Hi!,
Just to add onto that product “scalpmed”, actually I am also looking for a hair growth solution [as I am getting bald will get totally bald in next 2 yrs]. Just want to confirm wether this product will help me in growing this hair [even 1/4 inch in month from 0 areas]. Any direction/help wil be extremelly usefull as you can also understand the pain one have on baldness.
I am actually thinkking to buy but before that would like to know people/expert opinions.
Would appreciate your time and a reply.
Thanks,
Sumit.
There is always a grain of truth to everything that doesn’t seem real. Take Minoxidil for instance in Scalpmed. The grain of truth is that in some people, minoxidil has been proven to regrow hair. Moreover, the hair is fine and almost translucent. In a very small percentage of people, the hair may come back with more density, but the majority of people who take minoxidil will not see the results they anticipate. That is why you see ” individual results will vary” in super small subscript at the bottom of your infomercial. The truth is many companies like Scalpmed reinvent minoxidil, create an infomercial, sensationalize their product, and rake in billions every year to unsuspecting customers. My advice is simply purchase minoxidil over the counter (relatively cheap now) and see if it works for you. Just remember, as we age, none of us will have that full head of hair we once had in our 20’s. if there was a cure for baldness, I think we all would have known it by now.
