Stopping finasteride made me shed

I’m on topical finasteride and topical minoxidil. I’ve got a heavy shedding 2 weeks into treatment and it stopped. 3 months later the shedding is back after I stopped the medications.. Is it normal ? I’ve got dandruff due to minoxidil and I started ketokonazole. Is the shedding due to this?

This second shedding episode is likely due to the withdrawal of the finasteride. Three weeks is about when it starts. It means that it was working. You should be committed to lifetime use of finasteride if you want to hold on to your hair.  As I don’t have photos, I don’t know where you are in the process.
