Testing Pills to Make Sure They Are Legit?
Dr. Rassman,
Is there any way an ordinary guy like me could get his online-bought pills tested by a chemist or at a laboratory to determine if they contain the correct active ingredient at the right dosage? I would be willing to pay the charges if they were reasonable, plus it would really allay my fears that my Dr. Reddy’s stuff isn’t counterfeit. (They were bought from inhousepharmacy.com, if that information is helpful).
A study: Wouldn’t it be fascinating if soemone did a study to test the honesty of online pharmacies by measuring the active ingredients in various prescription pills bought online?
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is legit and is a substantial manufacturer of generic drugs. The FDA is the watchdog on these drug companies. To find out the answer to your question, you’d have to ask the FDA for a recommendation for a private lab. As a matter of public information, the FDA probably has a file already on Dr. Reddy’s manufacturing quality control testing. There are private labs that will test the product for you, but I do not have any recommendation. You may ask the FDA for such references.
Disclaimer: As I do not order drugs via the internet, I can’t vouch for the quality of drugs at the site you mention.
Any impressions on CIPLA?
How can you promote inhousepharmacy.com?
Canadian drugs , or any foreign drugstore are not safe. Many
people who buy them get sick, lose organs or even have died. It is almost as bad as buying them from south of the border in Mexico. People do that trying
to save a buck.. Buy USA they are regulated by the FDA. Without the FDA regulation who knows what your buying…all we know is YES it is extremely cheap, but how do they pull that off? They must be substituting in crap instead of the actual ingredients…And who knows what it is doing to your body. Hardly worth the savings if you ask me.
Inhousepharmacy.com is not safe at all….it’s as bad as a canadian drugstore, not as bad as a mexicanone, but still bad nonetheless. I would never buy from online.
I’m not trying to promote any online pharmacy. I’ve added a disclaimer to the bottom of the post. Buyer beware. Use caution.
I can vouch for Dr. Reddy’s! I have been using their Finasteride for about 6-7 months now and it’s working pretty well. I get it at the local pharmacy for $24 a month for 30 tablets. The tablets are blue and are a long oval shape.
