Thinning Hair From Hormonal Imbalance?
Hello,
I have thinning hair and I have been taking Propecia for the last 6 months to help correct the issue. However, I am 28 and I have very little facial hair, is it possible that my thinning hair is due to some hormonal imbalance?
Maybe… maybe not…
It is rather difficult, if not impossible, to tell you what is the cause of your hair loss without at least a proper exam. You need to see a doctor for a good diagnosis. There is no direct relationship between scalp hair loss and having little facial hair. As I have said over and over again, get a diagnosis first by mapping our your hair for miniaturization and find out if you are genetically balding.
I have been experiencing hair loss for almost 2-years.Have been to 4-Dr’s and none of them can give me an answer.I don’t have any genetic background of hair loss.I’m 41 and am very worried that something is really wrong.I’m in great health and have alway’s had beautiful hair. Now all i can do is wear it up.And very, very self concious.I’m not sure what step to take next. It seems every dr want’s to blame it on stress or genetics.I’m not under any unusual stress no medication and no apparent reason for this to be happening…please help
