Transplanted 6 Months Ago and Still Has a Pink Color (Photos)
This is an unusually long time for this to last. You are probably fair skinned and have what I call a “histamine positive skin,” which holds the pink color for a long time.
See your doctor and speak about the use of typical steroids to reduce the pink color.
I have histimine positive skin. Six weeks after HT it was still quite red. I used OTC topical antihistamine gel (Benadryl) applied to affected area 2x a day for 5 days and it dramatically reduced the redness.
