What’s Next for ACell and Hair Multiplication?
Since Dr. Hitzig appears to have reversed his stance on acell 2 hairs for one process on a bald scalp, how much hair density did he say is required for the new hair to grow?
Are you planning to do studies using denser sites for transplantation? Or do you think we’ve been sold a too good to be true situation.
He must know others would try and duplicate the process. And fail.
Perhaps I wasn’t clear enough on the ACell matter…
ACell for use in hair cloning or hair multiplication (plucked hairs) does not work. I am not at all sure if it even has a future in hair multiplication. We aren’t planing further studies, but I can’t speak for other doctors that might be trying to get it to work as originally claimed.
I see. Then all of Dr. Cooley’s studies proving the success of the procedure, and his dozens of successful hair plucking patients are all make believe? Hair plucking with Acell “doesn’t work” just because you couldn’t make it happen on a completely bald scalp? You clearly don’t understand the science and mechanics behind Acell. It needs surrounding follicles to assist in rebuilding the tissue at the the recipient site. Makes perfect sense that it wouldn’t work in a bald scalp, but you clearly seem a little too interested in disregarding the facts and discounting the procedure entirely. I wonder why…
Does it work on repairing scars caused by the strip surgery ?
I guess there is a reason that faith based treatments and homeopathy continue to thrive across the world. If Drs. Hitzing and Cooley’s results cannot be replicated then the scientific community have to reject his conclusions. It’s as simple as that. Since they are making the claims the onus is upon them to substantiate them if they want said claims to be properly validated.
this is so depressing
“Then all of Dr. Cooley’s studies proving the success of the procedure, and his dozens of successful hair plucking patients are all make believe?”
The simple answer is…yes.
Dr. Hitzig’s research has been successful and I took an ACell injection in dec and couldnever be happier with the results.
