Will the 1mg dose of finasteride block all of the DHT in my body?

Finasteride at the 1mg does is actually a very low dose and does not block most of the body’s activities that are DHT dependent.  For prostate treatment, the dose it 5mgs, as an example works on the prostate and few of these men (less than 4%) complain of sexual side effects. The 1mg does (luckily) seems to impact the action of DHT on the hair follicle with competitive inhibition at 70% effectiveness.
