Will ScalpMed Make Me Go Blind?
Doctor, I have a question to make you, I’m wondering if a comment from one user of Scalp Med it’s true, I doubt it honestly, the commentary says, ‘I have using Scalp Med since 3 months and im started to lose a little vision in my eyes since this three months’. I honestly don’t believe that, but I wanna be sure that Scalp Med doesn’t have these side effects.
So I would really like if you know from this side effects of Scalp Med, cause I’m thinking seriously in use this product.
Thanks in Advance.
ScalpMed contains minoxidil, which is known to cause blurred vision as a rare side effect in some people. For more info, see:
This is true. I was one of the first reviewers who pointed out that scalpmed was causing me loose my vision. Blurring vision was one side effect (which now i know) but the serious thing was that it was not just temporary. I used scalp med for 3 months, then give it up because of vision problem. I gave a second try after a few months as my hair loss sort of increased but again the side effects were too obvious. I left scalp med that time just because of the side effects (otherwise i was v happy with hair treatment).
Not all humans are the same when it comes to treatment/medication. Scalp med can definitely cause lose of vision. But not every one has reported this. I have also seen that other products such laser comb also had such effect (although blurring of vision as not so pronounced for me or barely pronounced). I think I have lost my vision because of these hair loss products. I have never strained my eyes by watching too much TV or by being sitting too much in front of the computer. Although i must admit I do work in IT field. Every one should be aware of this side effect. My advice would be do an eye check up before using scalpmed. If you experience blurring of vision, do a second eye check after 2/3 months. Notice if you really lost any vision. This is a serious problem and it should be seriously investigated.
