Young man’s hair loss story – real down to earth
“I was nervous as hell going into the church for the wedding. I will admit a lot of people didn’t recognize me at first and I got some shocked looks when I spoke and said who I am.
“But the point of this is… no one cared what my hair or lack there of look liked. At least to my face. Most people said ‘I missed you, it’s been so long since I have seen you.’ This crushed me. Balding early made me so paranoid that I hid myself from my closest friends. And I didn’t give them the benefit of the doubt that they don’t care about what it sprouting at the top of my head and they just liked me for who I am.
“The moral of this story is, don’t let balding consume you. Is it a physiological blow? Yes. But you shouldn’t forfeit your social life for it. I am not saying you should pass on drug solutions or even hair transplants if that is what you feel you want but it’s not such a big deal that you feel like you should close off a section of your life. You aren’t the first to struggle with balding and you won’t be the last. It just hit you earlier. And the sooner you can accept this fact and understand your true friends won’t give a shit, the sooner you can move on with your life and put this physical mishap behind you.”
