Here is a Class 7 patient that I followed from his early balding to his extreme balding. I stopped it with multiple hair transplant procedures over 26 years: https://baldingblog.com/norwood-class-7-pattern-patient-received-11000-grafts-plus-smp/ You should make the judgment if this is a combover!
Started Fin 2 days ago and now I’m at work sitting here with an annoying ache in my balls. It’s not painful, but a nuisance in terms of feeling. I’m an athletic guy and exercise daily. Is it smart to push through for another week and see if ache disappears or should I stop. I’m able to get hard and masturbate as of today and there was no pain in the process.
I recommend to stop taking the drug and see if it goes away. Then restart it in a few weeks and see if it happens again.
I have a friend who still have a a norwood 0 at 26 his hair is almost full grey but is better to have grey hair than no hair. My father is 56 still have NW0 only now it starting the thinning of the crow area. I unfortunately receive the genetic hair from my mother side and I am already on 1 or 2 on the scale) And going bald is inevitalble ? every man become bald when they become older like at 60-70 ?
22y/o here with diffuse thinning. I’ve accepted that growing my hair out long isn’t an option due to thinness and my hairline has started to go. I look fine with a buzzcut but would look great if I could fill in my temples. Ive stabilised loss with fin and min (on for 6 months) but am wondering if getting a small transplant (1k) to fill in temples is a a good idea (aged 24 or so). I think it would look better than some dodgy SMP. Has anyone done this/got any opinions
A small hair transplant is like being a little bit pregnant. You should never start the hair transplant process unless it is part of a Master Plan that looks into your future (see here: https://baldingblog.com/so-if-i-replace-my-receding-hairline-what-happens-in-ano).
I have finasteride 5mg pills. I crushed up the pill until it was very fine powder. I put it in an empty bottle of Minoxidil. I added 5ml of Minoxidil. Shook up the contents My intention is to shake up this mixture prior to applying and apply 1ML of this mixture a day via the Minox dropper. Thus this mixture should last 5 days Am i missing something here or is this sound?
Here, an area was left untouched, and the FUE was done above and below the untouched area. From looking at these photos, you can see that the FUE was distributed in the normal donor area nicely, but more FUE than this will cause significant depletion. The FUE was done above and below an area which has SMP done.
Just curious but has anyone had experience with telling their work colleagues or bosses that they were going to get a hair transplant to clear the air, etc.? Or have you told them after the fact at all? If so, what was their reaction like / how did people take it generally? I’m planning on getting a HT this year and honestly considering just telling my 2 main bosses straight up what I’m gonna do because I’m 100% sure they will notice it when I’m back at work; I know this because I’ll have at least 2500 grafts done in the front primarily, which WILL be noticeable even with a concealing hair style, and i know both of them are very clued in to appearances and somewhat vain themselves. One of my bosses literally even makes comments about my appearance and my hair sometimes if I have a ‘bad day’ or if something is “off” – he does it sort of in a prick-ish endearing way but he’s literally said multiple times like “what the fuck!” or “You need a haircut man!” So my point is i know 100% they will notice either way when I come back to work, and I feel that by just telling them up front, I may not only clear the air completely and remove any anxiety or awkwardness, but could maybe even gain a little respect or support. Anyway, does any one have thoughts or experience on this?
I have had men successfully hide the hair transplant, that is, if they do the strip method as the removed strip area is covered with hair and the recipient area is cleanly washed. If you have frontal hair you can come it forward and cover the recipient graft. I also wrote a post on hiding FUE here: https://baldingblog.com/go-man-hide-hair-transplant/
