    Hair Cloning

    Apr 27, 2005/by William Rassman, M.D./17 /Hair Cloning

    Benjamin asked…

Are there any doctors who can clone donor hairs so that the amount of available donor hairs is no longer an issue with transplants?

The hair cloning issue keeps coming up because it seems to be promoted by some unscrupulous people who use the cloning ‘card’ as a way to elevate their own position of authority in this business. There is no cloning on the short-term horizon for hair, despite claims to the contrary. If and when the cloning problem for hair is solved from a research perspective that can be replicated , it will take legislation to make that reality into a clinical tool. Hair was first cloned by Jahoda in Scotland in the late 1980s. Since then, there is been a relatively long silence in the industry on repeating his work. His report stands alone as a successful cloning experiment. Attempts to do this in mice and other animals have produced many dead animals in at least one study I have been told about. Attempts to do this in humans have met with failure after failure. Fortunately, no deaths have occurred. I would urge all of my readers to be cautious about the cloning option and look skeptically at anyone who promotes it at this time.

For the past couple of weeks, I read alot of information on the web concerning hair multiplication. All the information I have read are out dated. I was wondering if there was a website that keeps current info on the subject? It would be great to sit and read where the process is, or where it is going and when it will be available for the masses?

      Hello Doctor.
I have visited the site you posted, clonemyhair.com.
Within the site I read alot of information on Prof. Carl Bazan, M.D., MTTS. Have you ever heard of this Doctor before. I am asking you because I have heard alot of good things about you front the Bald Truth. In his site, itzan.com, he claims that he is doing Dp-Hair Multiplication. My question is, have you ever heard of this doctor and this procedure. Is there any light to his claim?
      Thank you.

      To Ironman,

Statements like that need to be backed with facts. Sounds more like you are trying to disrupt his progress and cause havoc in the entire field. Get a life and learn English!

Ironman57’s statements are fact, very much so, and I happen to know exactly what I’m talking about. I know Bazan. I know him well. The story of Bazan’s arrest was published in the Augascalientes newspaper and was also reported in various places on the internet. I find the comments that Ironman57 made about Bazan’s activities in California very interesting. I don’t know who Ironman57 is, but he knows what he is talking about. I heard Bazan brag about these same illegal activities. I heard it from bazan’s own mouth when I stood in the same room with him. Wake up roger.

Dr, Bazan is very competent and a very nice person. His whole staff is professional and caring. I’ve had 2 hair transplant procedures with him and 1 facial injection. I’m thinking of going to him again for another procedure. So, stop making him look bad for whatever your reason is.

Bazan is not even a doctor. His mal practice and making people believe he was prepared to do surgeries he couldn’t caused the Mexican authorities to put him in jail. He has criminal charges ranging from rape, mal practice and endangerment to patients, to charges from sexual harrasment from the assistants he would hire. Get away from him if you ever meet him, he is known to have a criminal mind and to be a mithomaniac and a pathological liar. Don’t fall in his web of lies.

What Mike and Ironman said is true. He used to brag about how he could always get around doing things his way by manipulating. I met him a couple of times when he was drunk out of his mind and this would be his favorite topic. It is a shame so many people fell victims to this Carl Bazan. I guess he got what he deserved.
