Since I personally do not believe the Laser Comb works for treating hair loss, I would not think there would be any positives or negatives associated with stopping its use… aside from the extra time you save everyday to do other things.

We have written in the past about the LaserComb — basically, we don’t feel it works for treating hair loss. Rogaine, however, is an option if you are persistent enough to apply it twice a day, everyday. In my opinion, most men are horrible at keeping to a regimen and it is a factor you […]
I personally do not think any laser works for treating hair loss, and I think what you are seeing could be a coincidence. I have not heard of increased hair loss from a using a LaserComb. Propecia is a great medication, but you will still lose some hair as you use it. The point is […]
Sorry, but recent articles and studies show the various laser combs and laser treatments for hair loss are not as good as once thought. The science I have seen is flawed. In other words, lasers do not work as promised. For those of you who spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on this and many […]
In my opinion, it does not too much. The theory is that it increases the circulation, but I do not believe that any impact on circulation will last but a few minutes if there is heat generated.
I am not a fan of this technology, but the HairMax, Rezultz, and Bosley LaserComb models are all made by the same company — Lexington International. So it is one manufacturer and likely the only difference between each is the logo and the price the reseller charges (all well over the price they’re worth, in […]
I have not heard any reports that parallel yours. I personally do not feel that the LaserComb (or similar) does much more than line the pockets of the company’s owners.
This is not an endorsement of the laser technology, just a video that some of you may find interesting and useful. No, I did not make this. The video was made by prolific Metacafe.com video blogger KipKay. For info on the HairMax LaserComb (the commercial product that sells for around $350 more), you can read […]
I am not sure about the implication of clearance or approval but it seems to be more of a semantic problem. The FDA has approved / cleared the use of the laser for the purpose of hair growth, but I believe it was approved because the laser has been shown to be safe in predicate […]
I would have expected the results you reported. Look up the other products here on this site (use the search box in the top right) and you may see similar predictions. Why not do it the right way and get your hair mapped out for miniaturization and then get a competent doctor to make the […]
There is no evidence that I’ve seen one way or the other that the Laser Comb will help with miniaturization. I did review the studies on the Laser Comb on the product’s official website and developed some opinions worth reading. See Analyzing the Results of the HairMax Laser Comb for the analysis of the Laser […]
Ah, the HairMax LaserComb by Lexington International. It’s worth noting that lasercomb.net and hairmax.com both go to the exact same site, so the link you sent is the official site of this product. The page you sent (linked above) has 2 groups of photographs, each with multiple before/after sets. The 1st group is apparently patient […]
From your writing, it appears to me that you are experiencing male genetic hair loss which has responded to Propecia. I am glad to hear that you have been compliant on Propecia for 2 years, but as you know, Propecia may not solve the problem completely. The science is out on the various laser treatments […]
I have not read any impartial scientific papers that verify the effectiveness of laser combs. I tend to discount any reports that claim the combs work, if they are written by those who have a vested interest in the success of the laser comb industry. On the positive side, I have not read any papers […]
For those that missed it, I analyzed their “results” photos back in 2006 — Analyzing the Results of the HairMax Laser Comb. I looked at the link you sent, but I am not willing to make the invested time to analyze it again. Is there selective circling? I don’t know. There’s nothing there that will […]
