There are no proven connections between different good healthy diets with regard to chronic TE. The one on one connections you discussed are subjective assessments of various people and I would have no way to verify these observations.

I would guess that a Low Laser Light Therapy (LLLT) device like the LaserComb should not impact pregnancy. Ask your doctor and check with the medical warnings in the package.
We do know that nitric oxide is a vasodilator. Many of the claims that relate to increased blood flow that are reported from the low level laser therapy (LLLT) suggest that it is the nitric oxide that is causing the increased blood supply. Simply, LLLT has been claimed to increase blood flow to the hair […]
This is not new information. I just don’t believe it. Sorry!
Your email raises good questions that haven’t been asked here before, but I wish I had answers for you. Any answers to your questions would not have the proper data that can be depended upon. I would suspect that the amount of time exposed to the LLLT is not sufficient for the problems you are […]
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is not used in connection with the actual surgical procedure. There were some doctors that used lasers to actually make the surgical incisions and the results were awful. That practice was stopped quickly for the most part, but not fast enough for me. There are many LLLT systems on the […]
As of right now I am open and hopeful that LLLT will show the benefits that are proclaimed, although I am not 100% convinced about them. There are some encouraging studies from a well respected researcher who supports LLLT in concept. I can not comment much about this subject until I have more data and […]
Comments like this emphasize the old adage, ‘Let the Buyer Beware’.
My experience is increasing with the large units. Many patients using it regularly have reported improvements to me. It is totally subjective, though. As I do not charge for these treatments (only for existing patients who have had surgery at one time or another with us), there is more objectivity in this type of report […]
Earlier this month, I posted an entry titled Analyzing the Results of the HairMax Laser Comb. The extensive email that I received (posted below) shows the great care that the HairMax folks went through to try to be objective. I do not doubt that objectivity was the intent, but upon reviewing the images that were […]
As I’ve said previously, Nioxin makes a good set of products that are popular, but there appears to be nothing in it that will stop hair loss. I’ve also commented on Procerin and laser therapy previously. Good starting points for blog posts about lasers can be found here and here. Dying your hair, when done […]
There are some promising studies out there about low laser light therapy treatments for hair loss. There is still, however, a need for better and more appropriate science to back up claims that this therapy can actually grow hair. I’ve written about lasers many times before on this blog, such as here, here, and here. […]
These photos were sent to me by Dr. Richard Burgmeier in Arizona who had a patient with Alopecia Totalis that failed to respond to treatment for many years. Dr. Burgmeier said: “The patient is sixteen years of age and had the problem since the age of twelve. She has seen different doctors and has tried […]
There is anecdotal evidence in Europe that hair lasers (Low Level Light Therapy / LLLT) increases hair growth. I’ve written about LLLT previously, here. Thinning of the hair in young men often starts off insidiously and gets slowly worse. At the beginning, you might actually lose 50% or more of your hair before you notice […]
Transplantation of hair is generally not a good option to take just to thicken an almost normal head of hair. Hair lasers (called Low Level Laser Therapy) is gaining popularity. Many article writtin in Europe indicate benefit from LLLT and one new article in the US in a new medical journal has suggested benefits to […]
